Faliero Sarti was formed in 1994 by Faliero Sarti's granddaughter, Monica Sarti, who acquired the position of head designer of the artisanal family run textile mill. Monica continued to run the mill, maintaining its standards of quality, and developed her own high-fashion brand of hand woven scarves and shawls for men and women. Materials comprise of superfine, lightweight wool, modal, silk, and other high-end textiles created in house.
