NEW YORK - Moving from Japan to New York City at a young age opened up the world of diversity to Mizuki Nagasawa. The instant infusion of western culture into her Japanese values and sensibilities created a dynamic and personal strength upon which she drew much of her artistic inspiration.
After graduating with a BFA, she began to create jewelry collections based on her strong ideas about fashion and the individual personality of each person she imagined would wear her jewelry. Each piece is a balance of culture, art, fashion and who Mizuki is.
