German porcelain manufacturer, Nymphenburg Porzellan began a triumphant and much lauded collaboration with Ted Muehling in 2000.  Each vase is hand painted in matte black or orange, creating an interpreted vision of the simple egg.  This very modern example is a perfect marriage for historic Nymphenburg who began creating elegant porcelain in the 18th century.  Click here to see the entire Ted Muehling Collection at Elements.
