Using centuries old techniques, Ms. Hirschey uses 100 percent recycled 18k and 22k gold, and blackened silver, paired with precious and semi-precious stones to create unique, one of a kind pieces. The imperfections of the stones and ancient techniques she employs create pieces that evoke a sense of antiquity with a very modern sensibility.
Ms. Hirschey received a B.A. in Fine Arts from Indiana University studying both two dimensional and three dimensional disciplines and studied the art of jewelry construction at Clear Creek Academy of Jewelry and Metal Arts in Denver, CO.
