Their wonderful finds are often from limited collections, like handcrafted jewelry by Italian designer Pomellato, whose artisans’ foundations lie within an authentic love and respect of ancient Milanese goldsmith’s traditions. Elements carries magnificent objets d’art from Ted Meuhling. His aim has been “to exploit the delicate, translucent beauty of porcelain and try to capture some essential and quality found in nature – the grace of a sea shell, the thinness of a bird’s egg, the tactile texture of coral.” The store’s collection also includes marvelous accessories like handbags from Carlos Falchi and luxurious cashmere scarves from Agnona. Jeannine and Toby’s keen eye for the subtly extraordinary has led them to special treasures like organic stoneware from Christiane Perrochon. Christiane’s passion for color was first stirred during her studies at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Geneva. She’s obsessed with color and possessed of a sixth sense for discovering and developing hues that have rarely, if ever, been seen in stoneware.
